Welcome to The Green Room – an Island institution where you’ll find all you need in one place! Elaine Barse opened her little surf and skate shop in 1994 on Spring Street. She expanded the business in 2003 with the purchase of LeRoux Clothing on Main Street, where The Green Room now sells popular brand name clothing, sportswear, accessories and footwear on the main floor (Lifestyle), along with swim, surf and skate selections downstairs (Surf+Skate). Selected items can now be purchased online (Shop).
Deeply involved in island life, Elaine was a founding member of the Martha’s Vineyard Skate Park and helped relaunch the Vineyard Haven Business Association. She and her dedicated staff are proud to be recognized as Best of the Vineyard for 15 consecutive years.
